We are buying agents, otherwise known as property finders, specialising in finding and securing the most outstanding property in Yorkshire and the north of England for retained private clients. We buy houses, flats, farms, sporting estates, grouse moors, forestry, as well as investment and development opportunities.
We buy the best property in the best locations. We have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the area and an unrivalled network of contacts generated over a combined 30 years agency experience with both Strutt & Parker and Knight Frank.
As proud members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, professionalism, discretion and integrity are the cornerstones of the business and underpin everything we do.
The best properties seldom make it to the open market or the websites of the traditional estate agent. To see the full spectrum of property both on and off market requires an extensive network of contacts and an exceptional understanding of the target area. We adopt a wholly proactive approach combining old fashioned legwork, state of the art technology and The Search Partnership’s comprehensive database of privately available property.
We meet every client face to face during a no obligation meeting. We want to try and understand your tastes, your specific needs and your search area. We usually meet in your home. We listen. Prime property is wholly subjective and multi-dimensional and we make it a critical part of our business to understand exactly what you want. We give honest and well educated views on what and where to buy and more importantly what not and where not to buy. We don’t mind advising “no”.
Identifying the perfect property is only part of our job. Prior to embarking on any negotiation we complete The Search Partnership pre-purchase analysis giving you confidence in the property before we enter into any negotiations on your behalf.
We can supply a network of highly respected advisors including solicitors, surveyors and architects. They can advise and report on all aspects, ensuring a smooth transaction.
Our acquisition only service is available to buyers who wish to search for properties themselves but want professional advice to negotiate a purchase on their behalf. Buying any property can be emotive and subjective. Our approach is totally objective and professional.
When relocating to a new area many clients want to rent before they buy. The rental market at the high end is fast paced and with a limited supply of good quality houses; they let quickly. We specialise in the searching for high end rental property and provide the same levels of expertise and service.
